This week we had nine riders out on Sunday morning for the CFCC club run. After meeting up on the high street in Alness we headed up through Achnagarron ,then along past Newmore and onto the Scotsburn road right through to Tain aided by a nice tailwind. Then we headed out of Tain and out along the Fendon road and past Inver ,this is where the easy ride finished and we were heading into a strong headwind right along to the junction at Geanies where we took a right turn and headed along to Balmuchy where we went left and followed the road round by Balintore and down to Anta Pottery for a coffee stop. After a coffee and some magic cake which seemed to be the most popular choice it was back out to face the headwind through to Arabella then up to Kildary. A quick bit along the A9 and then a right turn and up past Tullich Muir and onto Newmore then back into Alness to finish the ride. Total distance 45miles.
