National 100tt 11/8/13
The Scottish National 100tt/NoSCA Championship was held in Alness on Sunday 11/8/13. Riders had to race over 2 laps of the 50tt course. With a strong headwind on the long leg from Cullrosie roundabout down to Ardullie it made for a tough day.
The event was won by Ian Grant (Dooleys RT) in a time of 3:54:05 with team mate Gavin Shirley in 2nd in a time of 4:03:02 and Jim Cusick (Glasgow Couriers) in 3rd with a time of 4:03:26. Fastest woman on the day was Anda-Jay Burgess (Sandy Wallace CC) in a time of 4:27:48.
David Stuart was the only CFCC rider racing on the day and after struggling with the headwind finished in a time of 5:22:01.
