Details for the SC North special series for 2017, a series of events over non standard distances and generaly on hilly courses.
SC North Special Series 2017
* Make 2017 the year that you join those who already make the Special Series Special - to – them!
* This is a season- long competition for SC(N) riders, to encourage Non-Standard events.
* In each event, points are awarded as follows:
1st – 10pts, 2nd - 8pts, 3rd- 6pts, 4th- 4pts, 5th- 3pts.
* 1st means 1st North rider in the category.
* Overall fastest takes priority, eg, if a Vet or a Junior is fastest overall, then he/she takes that award as well as the 1st Vet or Junior.
* At the end of the season there will be trophies for category winners and medals for the first 3 in each category.
* Vets Standards are based on typical times taken for the event, compared with times for Standard Distances.
