David and Alan were joined by Roger Sewell of Rrcc on Sunday for the CFCC club run. Leaving Alness the trio headed north along the shore road past Invergordon through Barbraville and onto Kildary. Heading out of Kildary the riders decided to keep to the A9 to avoid any ice on the side roads and carried on past Tain and down to the Dornoch bridge where they went round the roundabout and back up towards Tain. A quick stop for a coffee in the co-op and then the riders got a bit of a tailwind back along the A9 to Kildary and then in along the shore road again past Invergordon and back to Alness to finish. Total distance 37 miles.

The first CFCC club run of 2012 saw David Stuart and Alan Cook joined by Roger Sewell of RRCC at the meeting place in Alness at 9:30am on Sunday morning. A cold morning saw the three riders leave Alness to head through Evanton and onto the back road to Dingwall (dodging the numerous potholes which have appeared). Once in Dingwall they headed out along the Strath straight and past Fodderty and into Strathpeffer . A quick stop at the coffee shop in Strath and the three riders headed back past Fodderty and back along to Dingwall. Alan Cook led the riders back up the hill past the academy. Roger left as the riders passed the end of the road to his house and David and Alan continued up the hill onto the old Evanton road to dodge the potholes again on the way back to Evanton then home to Alness. Total Distance 30 miles.
