Mike Gordon and David Stuart took advantage of the glorious sunshine on Sunday heading out of Alness and through Evanton then on across the Cromarty bridge to the first climb of the day up the hill to Culbokie. Left turn at the top and along towards the football pitch then a right turn and more climbing up over the top of Mount Eagle and down into Munlochy. Next up was the climb up through Drumsmittal and down into North Kessock from here they headed right along through Redcastle and on to Muir of ord. Dodging the pot holes in the Muir they headed out to Marybank to find all the holes on this stretch of road had been repaired. Next climb of the day was up to Strathpeffer where there was a quick stop for a well deserved coffee then back into Dingwall for the last climb of the day up onto the back road to Evanton then home to Alness.
