Mike Gordon and David Stuart travelled to Forres on Sunday 8th May to race at the Forres CC promoted Edinvalle hilly tt. The rain eased off once they arrived in Forres to let the riders race in the dry but they had to push into a stiff headwind on the way out through Raford. Mike was the first of the two CFCC riders off starting number 22 with David off number 25.David was just over 1 mile into the race when he passed Mike unfortunately walking back to the start with a punctured rear wheel. David went on to finish in 16th place in a time of 54.54min over 1 minute quicker than his time at the same event last year.
