With a strong wind blowing from the south riders were expecting a hard ride on the midweek 10tt this week. The outward leg to the roundabout was fast with the help of a good tailwind then is was a case of fighting the headwind all the way back to the finish. Despite the conditions some decent times were recorded including a 30.11min for Simon Custerson who was riding his first ever tt in what must have been difficult conditions for a new rider.
