Three CFCC riders took part in the Midsummer 25tt hosted by Ross-Shire Roads CC on Wednesday 22nd June. Conditions looked good for the 30 riders competing with a slight headwind on the way out to the turn at Ardullie roundabout but the wind dropped by the time the later riders were round the turn meaning they had to work had on the return to the finish.
Tom Broadbent (Elgin CC) was the fastest rider on the night finishing in a time of 55.02 mins with Callum Finlayson (MFCC) in 2nd in 56.15 mins and Finn Crocket (BWCC) in 3rd in 58.14 mins.
David Stuart was the fastest CFCC rider on the night finishing in a time of 1.01.17, Fraser Caldwell was next in a time of 1.03.43 for his first ever 25tt and Scott Macdonald finished in a time of 1.03.53.
