David Stuart and Scott Macdonald made the trip up to Thurso this weekend to take part in the Caithness Cycling weekend.

First up on the Saturday was the Mack Mowatt Memorial 25tt. A strong tailwind made it good going on the way out to the turn just past Watten but this meant a tough return leg into the wind. David managed to finish in a time of 1.00.53 in 5^th place overall with Scott doing a 1.01.50 in 6^th place.

On Sunday morning, it was onto the Caithness 10tt, the wind was still blowing and the riders had a fast run out to the turn and a tough push back to the finish. David managed a 23.03 mins for 3^rd place overall with Scott doing a 24.38mins in 7th overall.

Sunday afternoon saw the riders take on the 11mile Loch Calder Hilly again the blustery wind made for some hard riding in places around the course. Scott was the fastest CFCC rider in this one finishing in 30.24 mins in 7^th overall with David doing a 30.29 mins for 8^th overall.
